Andy Schultz is a designer that helps big companies solve big UX problems. He fervently identifies problems and delivers solutions that bring value to people’s lives. His day job is a lead Information Architect and Design Researcher at ADT and his night job is finding more problems to solve. He grew up in Wisconsin, worked in Chicago at Capgemini, Redbox, Walgreens, and Sears. After 18 years in the windy city, he moved to Florida to hug the sun.
Andy wanted to design cars as a kid so he earned an Industrial Design degree. After a short stint in sales and marketing, he found the two disciplines highly complimentary. He went back to school to the Institute of Design where he received a Masters of Design in Design Planning that bridges business with user-centered design.
To re-energize from working he practiced Bikram yoga and currently practices Ashtanga yoga and runs. Downtime is spent with his wife and twin girls in Boca Raton.
